It is no wonder that this cocktail won second prize even back in a 1903 drink competition. Its blend of sherry, vermouth, maraschino liqueur and orange bitters is a delicious and timeless mix of flavors.

Ingredients

3/4 ounce sherry
3/4 ounce dry vermouth
1 dash maraschino liqueur
2 dashes orange bitters

Directions

Place all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Vigorously shake the mixture for 35 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass; serve immediately.
