  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cubed
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • 3 heaped tbsp low-fat sour cream
  • 2 tbsp evaporated milk
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice

  1. Heat oil in a medium non-stick pan. Add onion and saute until brown. Mix in the ginger, garlic pastes, and lemon. Next add the cumin, coriander, chili, salt and a little water. Cook for about one minute.
  2. Increase the heat and add in chicken. Brown for 2-3 minutes, then stir in the sour cream and evaporated milk one tablespoon at a time.
  3. Mix well tossing to coat chicken. Add hot water if necessary. Simmer until the chicken is tender, about 4 minutes. Add the paprika and mix chicken well with sauce. Serve chicken with fresh coriander sprinkled on top.
