Beer battered coconut shrimp dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup beer
  • 1 pound medium shrimp
  • 1 (14 ounce) package shredded coconut
  • 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Mix together the flour and beer until smooth. Dip the shrimp into the batter and then roll in the coconut.
  2. Heat the oil to 375 degrees Fahrenheit in a deep fryer. Fry, without crowding, until golden brown, about 2-3 batches. Drain.
