Coca Cola Cake

Coca Cola Cake is very moist and studded with marshmallows.  There's no need for frosting.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 tablespoons, heaping, cocoa
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Coca Cola
  • 1/2 cup sour milk (1/2 tablespoon lemon juice or vinegar in 1/2 cup milk)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows

Directions

  1. In large bowl, sift flour, cocoa, sugar and salt. Bring to boil butter, oil, Coca Cola and pour over dry ingredients. Add sour milk, baking soda, vanilla and eggs; beat until smooth. Add marshmallows.
  2. Pour into a greased 9 by 13 inch baking pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 45-50 minutes.
