This drink made its debut way back in the late 1800s. Because it is made with a raw egg white, make sure that you shake it vigorously for at least 35 seconds.
- 1-1/2 ounces gin
- 1/4 ounce grenadine
- 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 1 egg white
- Pre-chill a cocktail glass by placing in the freezer for 5 minutes.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and then add the gin, grenadine, fresh lemon juice and the egg white.
- Vigorously shake the mixture for 35 seconds and then strain into the prepared glass; serve immediately.
