Wild Rice Casserole is a versatile side dish that goes great with meat or poultry.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup wild rice
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1/2 pound mushrooms
- 3 teaspoons granulated chicken bouillon
- 2 tablespoons butter
Directions
- Soak rice in 2 cups cold water overnight.
- Add 3 teaspoons chicken bouillon to rice and water. Stir fry onion, celery and mushroom in butter until onions are translucent. Add to rice. Turn into a casserole, cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours.
