Classic Watergate Salad is also known as Pistachio Salad. 

Ingredients

  • 1 small package Jello Instant Pistachio Pudding Mix
  • 1 can crushed pineapple in syrup
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, halved
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped fine
  • 1 3/4 cups Cool Whip, thawed

Directions

  1. Mix Jello with pineapple, marshmallows, pecans and cherries in a large mixing bowl. Fold in Cool Whip. Chill at least 1 hour before serving.
