A traditional Christmas punch perfect to serve at your holiday party and family festivities. Garnish the punch with floating pieces of sliced lemon.
Ingredients
- 2 bottles cabernet sauvignon
- 1, 750 ml bottle aged rum
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 3 cups strong English tea
- Sugar to taste
- Thinly sliced lemon slices to garnish
Directions
- In a large pot, heat the cabernet sauvignon, rum, lemon, tea and sugar over moderate heat until simmering. Do not boil.
- Empty into a large punch bowl and carefully drop in the lemon slices to garnish.
