Clam Tomato Sauce is easy to whip up for your family's favorite fish dish.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup celery, chopped
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2/3 cup clam tomato juice cocktail
- 1/4 cup whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon white wine
Directions
- In small saucepan, cook and stir celery and onion in butter over medium heat until tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
- Blend in clam tomato juice, cream and wine. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Pour over fish.
