Citrusy Glazed Carrots are flavored with lemon, ginger and honey.


  • 2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon peel, grated
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice


  1. Cook carrots in boiling water until tender, about 8 minutes. Meanwhile, melt butter in a saucepan and add garlic. Saute for 1 minute. Add ginger, lemon peel, honey and lemon juice. Mix well and heat over low heat for 1 minute. Remove from heat.
  2. Drain carrots and add to butter mixture. Toss carrots gently to coat.
