Citrusy Glazed Carrots are flavored with lemon, ginger and honey.
Ingredients
- 2 cups carrots, sliced
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon peel, grated
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Directions
- Cook carrots in boiling water until tender, about 8 minutes. Meanwhile, melt butter in a saucepan and add garlic. Saute for 1 minute. Add ginger, lemon peel, honey and lemon juice. Mix well and heat over low heat for 1 minute. Remove from heat.
- Drain carrots and add to butter mixture. Toss carrots gently to coat.
