- 1 pound fresh cranberries
- 1-1/2 cups apple juice
- 1 cup sugar
- Put the cranberries, apple juice and sugar into a large saucepan and place over low heat.
- Simmer the mixture until the cranberries burst, about 20 minutes.
- Allow the sauce to cool to room temperature before covering and placing in the refrigerator to chill before serving.
