This cocktail combines the herbal and slightly sweet taste of Bénédictine with the strong floral and botanical flavor of absinthe. The blend is then rounded out by the addition of dry vermouth


  • 1 teaspoon absinthe
  • 1 ounce Bénédictine
  • 2 ounces dry vermouth
  • Orange peel twist to garnish


  1. Place all of the ingredients, except for the garnish, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and stir for 1 minute until thoroughly chilled.
  2. Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass and then twist the orange peel over the mixture so the peel’s natural oils fall into the drink. Garnish the cocktail with the peel twist and serve immediately.
