Cynar, an Italian bitter apéritif liqueur made from 13 herbs and plants, has become quite a mainstream staple in mixed drinks since bitter liqueurs have become popular. Try it in this vermouth, allspice Dram and Cynar blend.

Ingredients

1-1/2 ounces Rum
1 ounce Sweet Vermouth
1-1/2 barspoon Allspice Dram
1-1/2 barspoon Cynar

Directions

Put all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and then fill with ice.
Stir the mixture slowly for 30 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass; serve immediately.
