Chocolate Popcorn

Yummy chocolate popcorn balls, great snack or party treat. Store in an airtight container.


  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 4 quarts fresh popcorn


  1. Stir the chocolate, sugar, water and corn syrup in a saucepan. Heat, stirring constantly, until the syrup instantly hardens when dropped in cool water.
  2. Pour over the popcorn, tossing to coat well. Shape into balls and let cool.
