Yummy chocolate popcorn balls, great snack or party treat. Store in an airtight container.
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
- 4 quarts fresh popcorn
- Stir the chocolate, sugar, water and corn syrup in a saucepan. Heat, stirring constantly, until the syrup instantly hardens when dropped in cool water.
- Pour over the popcorn, tossing to coat well. Shape into balls and let cool.
