Chocolate Freeze with Marshmallows

  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 16 marshmallows


  1. Reserve 1/2 cup milk.
  2. Pour remaining milk into a large bowl and chill.
  3. Combine cocoa and sugar in a double boiler.
  4. Gradually stir in 1/2 cup reserved milk until blended well.
  5. Add marshmallows to cocoa mixture and cook over low heat, stirring constantly.
  6. Stir until marshmallows are melted.
  7. Cool to room temperature.
  8. Beat chilled milk with electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
  9. Fold in cocoa mixture.
  10. Pour into a 9 inch square baking pan.
  11. cover and freeze for until firm.
