So how on earth could you make a pop chip even more delicious than it already is? Why, cover it in semisweet chocolate and freeze it, of course! The end result is an incredible mix of sweet and salty, a crunchy, milky and absolutely delectable treat. Plus, the use of pop chips means the end result is much lighter than if you used potato chips. Watch out, though, these bite size treats are irresistable. If you want, you can sub in regular chips or pretzels!
- 24 regular salted pop chips
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 3 tablespoons butter
- Melt chocolate and butter in a microwave safe dish at 30 second intervals. Stir between each interval. You want chocolate completely melted and very liquidy.
- Using tongs, dip each chip into the chocolate and cover completely. Let each chip drip off excess chocolate and place on nonstick parchment paper. Melt more chocolate if necessary. Freeze for at least two hours or until chocolate sets. Enjoy!
