Hearty slow cooked chili, perfect on a chilly winter eve.
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 2 cups vegetable tomato juice
- 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can Mexican style chili beans
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Brown the sausage and onion over medium heat. Drain, combine with the remaining ingredients in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 5-6 hours.
