Hearty slow cooked chili, perfect on a chilly winter eve.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 cups vegetable tomato juice
  • 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can Mexican style chili beans
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

Directions

  1. Brown the sausage and onion over medium heat. Drain, combine with the remaining ingredients in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 5-6 hours.
