Using a shot of Tamarind-Chile Syrup in this tequila-based drink adds both sweetness and an extra kick of spice.


  • 1-1/2 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce Tamarind-Chile Syrup
  • Ice
  • 1 lime wedge


  1. Place the tequila and syrup into a cocktail shaker and then fill halfway with ice.
  2. Shake the mixture vigorously for 35 seconds and then strain into a rocks cocktail glass.
  3. Squeeze in the juice from the lime wedge and serve immediately.
