A light-bodied and refreshing cocktail with just the right balance of sweet and sour taste, the Chilcano is a great choice to accompany spicy hors devours.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 ounces pisco
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3 drops Angostura bitters
- ginger ale
- Lemon twist to garnish
Directions
- Place the pisco, lemon juice, sugar and bitters into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Vigorously shake the mixture for 35 seconds to combine and then pour into a tall cocktail glass.
- Top the drink with the ginger ale, gently stir to combine and then garnish with the lemon twist; serve immediately.
