Creamy chicken, cheese and butter layered dinner.
Ingredients
- 2 cups chicken, cooked
- 2 cups cheese, grated
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dry msutard
- 1/8 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 6 slices bread
- 3 teaspoons butter
Directions
- Cut the crust off the bread. Butter the bread and cut into 2 inch squares.
- Arrange a layer of bread along the bottom of your baking dish. Top with half of the chicken, the cheese, layer of bread, and the remaining chicken on top.
- Mix together the eggs, milk and seasonings and pour over the layered dish.
- Place the baking dish inside a pan with 1 inch of water.
- Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake until light brown.
