A simple, creamy pie.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (9 inch) piecrust

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Add the butter, sugar and cornstarch to a bowl. Beat until creamy. Beat the eggs in, one at a time.
  3. Pour into the piecrust and cover the edges with foil to prevent excessive browning. Bake for 45 minutes.
