- 2-1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 eggs
- 1-1/4 cups eggnog
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries
- Cream eggs, eggnog, butter and vanilla.
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and nutmeg.
- Stir flour combination into egg mixture.
- Fold in pecans and cherries.
- Pour batter into a prepared loaf pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
