Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1-1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2-1/2 cups flour
  • 2 cans cherry pie filling
  • 1-1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar

Directions

  1. Mix together 1/4 cup butter, eggs, 1-1/4 cups sugar, baking powder, vanilla, milk and 2-1/4 cups flour. Press into the bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread cherry pie filling evenly over top of the crust.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together remaining flour, butter and sugar until mixture becomes crumbly. Sprinkle over top of cherry pie filling.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
