Cherry and lime blended cocktail party punch.


  • 24 limes, washed
  • 1 cup superfine sugar
  • 6 quarts crushed ice or small ice cubes
  • 1 bottle cachaco (1 liter)
  • 1 jar marschino cherry and juice


  1. Chop the limes into eighths. Add along with the cherries to the bottom of a very large bowl or cooler and cover with the sugar. Use a potato masher or the back of a wooden spoon to crush the fruit, continuing until the sugar has dissolved. Stir in the ice and cachaca.
