British Bulldog gin is the backbone spirit behind this rich and luscious port, cherry, anise and lime cocktail.
Ingredients
- 2-1/2 ounces Bulldog Gin
- 1 barspoon ruby port
- 4 Bing cherries, pitted
- 1 piece star anise
- 2 lime wedges
- 1 barspoon demerara sugar
- cherries to garnish
Directions
- Place the cherries, anise, lime and sugar into a cocktail shaker and muddle to combine.
- Add the remaining ingredients, except for the garnish, to the shaker and then fill with ice.
- Vigorously shake the mixture for 35 seconds and then double strain into a cocktail glass.
- Garnish the drink with the cherries and then serve immediately.
