Ingredients

  • 2 Vienna bread loaves
  • 12 ounces Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons minced raw onions
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Lawry's season salt
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

  1. Cut 1 loaf of bread in a criss-cross pattern on top. Fill slits with cheese. Mix melted butter with other ingredients and spoon into slits and across top. Wrap in foil and bake at 350 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes.
