Serve Cheese Vienna Bread next to a bowl of steaming pasta with marinara sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 Vienna bread loaves
- 12 ounces Swiss cheese
- 2 tablespoons minced raw onions
- 1 tablespoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon Lawry's season salt
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 pound butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
- Cut 1 loaf of bread in a criss-cross pattern on top. Fill slits with cheese. Mix melted butter with other ingredients and spoon into slits and across top. Wrap in foil and bake at 350 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes.
