Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup carrots chopped
  • 1/2 cup onions chopped
  • 1/4 cup celery chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded American Cheese

Directions

  1. In a saucepan combine carrot, onion, and clery in butter, cover and cook over low heat until tender.
  2. Stir in flour.
  3. Add broth and salt.
  4. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
  5. Stir in cream and cheese.
  6. Cook on low and stir until cheese melts.
