Ingredients
- 1/2 cup carrots chopped
- 1/2 cup onions chopped
- 1/4 cup celery chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded American Cheese
Directions
- In a saucepan combine carrot, onion, and clery in butter, cover and cook over low heat until tender.
- Stir in flour.
- Add broth and salt.
- Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
- Stir in cream and cheese.
- Cook on low and stir until cheese melts.
