Cherry Cake makes a wonderful, elegant dessert that no one can resist.
- 2, 21 ounce cans cherry pie filling
- 1/2 box yellow or lemon cake mix
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 stick butter cut into slices
- Put cherries in an 8 by 8 inch greased baking pan. Sprinkle cake mix on top of cherries. Do not stir. Place butter slices evenly on top of cake mix.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes.
