Cheddar Turkey Casserole is a great way to use up leftover turkey.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup instant rice
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons instant onion
  • 1/2 package frozen peas, thawed
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can celery soup
  • 1 soup can milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • additional 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

  1. Mix together all ingredients except 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese. Pour into a greased casserole. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup of Cheddar cheese, bake an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
