Cheddar Apple Fondue is great for dipping apple slices, zucchini slices, mushrooms and cocktail sausages.


  • 1 pound Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon each nutmeg, mace, cinnamon and salt
  • 2 cups apple juice


  1. Toss Cheddar cheese and flour together in a large bowl. Mix seasonings together; set aside.
  2. Heat apple juice in a 2 quart saucepan until bubbly. Reduce heat to low. Add cheese mixture, 1/2 cup at a time, stirring after each addition until cheese is melted. Add seasonings. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Pour into fondue pot.
