Perfect for a dinner party or your next potluck, these meatballs are complemented with a tangy sweet and sour sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup onion, minced
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon parsley, snipped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 (12 ounce) bottle chili sauce
- 1 (10 ounce) jar grape jelly
Directions
- Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, milk, egg and seasonings. Shape into small balls. Melt shortening in skillet. Brown meatballs.
- Heat chili sauce and jelly in chafing dish until melted. Add meatballs. Simmer for 30 minutes.
