Perfect for a dinner party or your next potluck, these meatballs are complemented with a tangy sweet and sour sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup onion, minced
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, snipped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 (12 ounce) bottle chili sauce
  • 1 (10 ounce) jar grape jelly

Directions

  1. Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, milk, egg and seasonings. Shape into small balls. Melt shortening in skillet. Brown meatballs.
  2. Heat chili sauce and jelly in chafing dish until melted. Add meatballs. Simmer for 30 minutes.
