Aquavit is intensely flavored Scandinavian liquor with amazing smoothness and the rare ability to blend with a diverse range of drinks. You can find it at most well-stocked liquor stores.

Ingredients

1-1/2 ounces rye whiskey
1 ounce aquavit
1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
1 teaspoon amaretto

Directions

Put a martini glass into the freezer for 5 minutes to chill
Place all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and then fill with ice.
Stir the mixture for 30 seconds to combine and then strain into the prepared glass; serve immediately.
