Cardamom and Pop Punch

Muddled cardamom pods with sugar are combined with rum, a dash of bitters and fresh juices to create this delicious punch recipe.


  • 2 ounces rum
  • 4 sugar cubes
  • 3 green cardamom pods
  • 3 ounces club soda
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1 dash orange bitters
  • lime wheels to garnish


  1. Place the sugar cubes and 1 ounce of soda water into a cocktail shaker. Add the cardamom and muddle well to dissolve the sugar.
  2. Add the rum, lime juice, grapefruit juice and bitters to the shaker, along with a handful of ice. Slowly stir the mixture for 30 seconds to combine and then strain into 2 punch glasses.
  3. Top each drink with the remaining club soda, garnish with the lime wheels and then serve immediately.
