This holiday favorite is full of sweet caramel, making it even more irresistible than before!
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup butter, cubed
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/3 cups chopped pecans
- 1 9-inch pie crust, unbaked
- 36 caramels
Directions
- In a saucepan, cook and stir caramels, water and butter over low heat until caramels are thoroughly melted. Remove from heat; set aside.
- Mix together eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt.
- Stir in caramel mixture.
- Fold in chopped pecans.
- Pour mixture into pie crust.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
