Caramel Pecan Apples are whipped up easily and made in the microwave.
- 3/4 cup pecan halves, toasted
- 4 large cooking apples
- 2/3 cup bottled caramel sauce
- Cut 1/2 inch slice off the top of the apples and reserve tops. Core apples; do not cut through to bottom.
- In a 2 cup measure, heat caramel on medium (50%) power 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Spoon 2 tablespoons pecans and 1 tablespoon sauce into each apple center. Place tops on apples. Cook for 7 to 9 minutes on medium high (70%) power. Spoon remaining sauce over apples; sprinkle with pecans.
