A blend of milk, brown sugar and vanilla extract gives this beverage its rich and sweet caramel flavor.
Ingredients
- 2 cups whole milk
- 5 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Place 3/4 cup of milk into a saucepan over low heat. Once it comes to a gentle simmer, add the brown sugar and vanilla extract to the pan and whisk vigorously until all of the sugar has completely dissolved.
- Add the remaining milk to the pan and whisk well to blend. Place the caramel milk in the refrigerator and chill well prior to serving.
