Caramel Chews are a combo of chocolate and caramel. Make an extra batch because they freeze well.
Ingredients
- 50 Kraft caramels
- 1/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1 box German Chocolate cake mix
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1, 6 ounce bag chocolate chips
Directions
- Melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Add nuts. Mix cake mix with butter and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Place half of batter in a 9 by 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 6 minutes.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Add caramel mixture. Spread rest of cake mix on top. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes.
- Refrigerate 30 minutes before cutting.
