This is a great tangy sauce to serve on any fish.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons drained capers
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Directions
- Melt butter and saute onion in a skillet until tender.
- Blend in flour and salt.
- Mix well.
- Add milk, stirring constantly.
- Cook until suace is smooth and has thickened.
- Stir in lemon juice, capers and parsley.
- Yields 1 1/2 cups.
