A nicely seasoned colelsaw.
Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoons Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil, crumbled
- dash of hot pepper sauce
- salt and pepper
- 1 head cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 onion diced
- 1/2 apple, peeled and chopped
- 1 carrot chopped
Directions
- Stir together the mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar, oil, lemon juice, Old Bay, Dijon mustard, basil, hot pepper sauce and salt and pepper. Allow to blend for 15 minutes.
- Combine the cabbage, apple and carrot. Mix in the dressing until the desired taste has been achieved. Cover and chill for 1-8 hours. Stir before serving.
