Use good-quality aged rum for this green Chartreuse, Amer Picon and falernum cocktail. Its complex mixture of aromatic, zesty and citrusy flavors are both rich and well-balanced.


  • 1-3/4 ounces rum
  • 3/4 ounce green Chartreuse
  • 1/2 ounce Amer Picon
  • 1/2 ounce falernum
  • Maraschino cherry to garnish
  • Place all of the ingredients, except for the cherry, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  • Slowly stir the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass.
  • Garnish the drink with the cherry and then serve immediately.
