Butterscotch and nuts in a delicious bar treat.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup self rising flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups nuts

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease an 8-inch square pan.
  2. Combine the shortening and brown sugar. Mix in the remaining ingredient. Beat until well combined.
  3. Spread the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
