Instead of white or chocolate chips, these chewy cookies are full of butterscotch.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons hot water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups butterscotch chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix together butter, sugar, brown sugar and eggs until mixture becomes creamy.
- Stir in vanilla.
- Dissolve baking soda in hot water; add to batter.
- Stir in flour and salt.
- Fold in butterscotch chips.
- Drop by teaspoon onto prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
