Butter glazed pears are a scrumptious and elegant dessert dish. Serve alone or with a scoop of premium vanilla ice cream for a sweet and creamy contrast.


  • 4 small Forelle or Bosc pears (1 pound total)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar


  1. Place the butter into a small sauté pan over medium heat to melt. Add the pears and cook for 12 minutes, turning once. Sprinkle the sugar into the pan and stir until a glaze is formed.
