An easy to make, slow cooked butter bean and ham soup.
Ingredients
- 1 pound butter beans
- 6 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup cubed ham
Directions
- Mix the beans and water in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours. Stir in the salt, butter and ham. Recover and cook for an additional hour.
