Make sure to whip up lots of mashed potatoes to go with Burgundy Pot Roast.
Ingredients
- 1, 4 pound blade chuck roast
- 1, 8 ounce can tomato sauce
- 1 cup burgundy wine
- 1 package dry vegetable soup mix
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place roast in a covered baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over roast. Cover. Bake 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Halfway through cooking time, check level of liquid in baking dish. Remove up to 1 cup of liquid to prevent spillover.
