First invented by bartender Patrick McGarry of the Buck’s Club in London, this fresh orange juice, gin and cherry brandy champagne cocktail is ideal served with brunch.


  • 2 ounces fresh-squeezed orange juice
  • 1/4 ounce gin
  • 1 dash cherry brandy
  • Champagne
  • Orange wedge to garnish


  1. Slowly build the cocktail by pouring in the orange juice, gin, cherry brandy and then topping with the champagne.
  2. Garnish the drink with the orange wedge and serve immediately.
