This slight variation to a classic Gin Rickey cocktail uses ginger ale instead of club soda to top this refreshing mixed drink.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 ounces gin
- 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
- Ice
- Cold ginger ale
- Wedge of lime
Directions
- Place a highball cocktail glass in the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
- Pour the gin and the lime juice into the prepared glass filled with ice, and then top with ginger ale to fill.
- Rub the lime wedge around the rim of the glass, squeeze the juice into the mixture and then drop the wedge into the glass. Serve immediately.
