Don’t limit your brown sugar to baked goods and desserts. It also works wonders as a dry rub for steaks and poultry.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sweet paprika
- 1/4 cup sea salt
- 3 tablespoons black pepper
- 3 teaspoons garlic powder
- 3 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoon dried basil
Directions
- Place all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix well to combine.
- Cover the protein of your choice with the rub and then set aside for 30 minutes prior to cooking as desired.
