A sweetly seasoned carrot side dish.
- 2 (15 ounce) cans sliced carrots
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- Drain the carrots, retaining 2 tablespoons of liquid.
- Combine the liquid, butter, brown sugar and ginger in a pot and heat through.
- Gently stir in the carrots and cook for 3 minutes.
