This Manhattan cocktail is given some of its brown color from the addition of Punt e Mes, an Italian vermouth with a bitter flavor and dark brown color, and Amaro Nonino, a reddish-amber liqueur with a light herbal fragrance and mildly sweet yet bitter taste.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 ounces Rye
- 1/2 ounce Punt e Mes
- 1/2 ounce Amaro Nonino
- 1 dash Mole Bitters
Directions
- Put all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and then fill with ice.
- Stir the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass; serve immediately.
